Jessie’s Grove is growing! We are looking for a well-organized and highly motivated individual with a terrific attitude to be a part of our small team.

We have 230 acres of vineyards in Lodi, CA. Among them are the 5th oldest Zinfandel in California our storied Royal Tee Vineyard, planted in 1889. We are also home to the Bechthold Cinsault, the oldest Cinsault vineyard in the world, planted in 1886.

What we are looking for:
- Must love tasting wine and be excited about all aspects of the wine business
- Completed at least one harvest
- Able to lift and carry 50 lbs
- Enology, viticulture, or agriculture degree
- Knowledge of winemaking chemistry
- Ability to drive a forklift
- Ability to drive a truck with trailer

Your duties will include:
- All harvest related activities such as grape receiving, sorting, crushing, making additions, managing fermentations, pressing, racking and barreling down. Cleaning, set up and tear down of equipment
- Top and sulfur barrels
- Manage cellar inventory supplies
- Helping to prepare blends for bottling
- Cleaning and sanitation
- Fining and filtration
- Maintaining the health of wines in tank and barrel

Must be dependable!
Must be enthusiastic about winemaking!
Must enjoy being part of a small team.
This position requires flexibility during harvest, bottling, and may require help during events.

This is a salaried position. Compensation depends on experience
Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
